The last chocolate

24 Dec 2023

You might already have guessed it. The last post would, as the first, be about blogmas. So here we are, twenty-three posts later.

Overall the experience was positive, I liked the idea of having to push myself creatively every day. However, I think that I wouldn’t keep this as a permanent thing, because, on most days, I really had no idea what to write about, and the result of that was many lack-luster “filler-vibed” posts.

Still, as I’m under no pressure to put out good posts, even one good post, is worth twenty-three bad ones. And I think I put out some good ones during December.

This also helped me put my regular post output (which was less than one post per two weeks) into perspective. Even considering that those posts usually require greater effort, if I’m able to do fourteen smaller posts in fourteen days, I should be able to do one “large” one.

So in summary:

  1. pushing myself creatively was awesome, but sometimes frustrating.
  2. I’m committing to do more posts instead of being a lazy bee

To all of you, I wish a merry Christmas. This is my favorite day of the year because I’m able to be with my family in an environment that is centered on love and giving back. Every year may have its hardships, but they all pause before reaching the Christmas dining table.

Until Sunday, the focus is on preparing for a great New Year. Please expect some reflection on my 2023 goals and some planning for 2024’s goals.

See you soon!
